There is no denying that The Last Jedi had a negative impact on a lot of fans, but it also had an incredibly positive one for others. The film brought in over $1.3 billion worldwide but its followup, The Rise of Skywalker, became the first-ever third Star Wars movie to make less money than its predecessor. All of this makes it interesting that Johnson is still set to play in the galaxy far, far away.
