Is this going to be the official Cassian Andor synopsis? That’s the question we are asking following a recent rumored leaked synopsis for the Star Wars show. The problem with this Cassian Andor show may be that any one of us could have written a synopsis at a guess for the show.
Let’s take a look at what we all know about the Cassian Andor Star Wars show. I think we could say Cassian Andor will follow the early rebellion period. I’d guess it has some espionage given Cassian’s role for the Rebellion, and the villains will be The Empire. Well, that’s about as much as you will get from this rumored synopsis, but that doesn’t really mean squat for now. The rumored leak was published by TheIlluminerdi, and here is what it says.
(Untitled) follows the adventures of Rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor, which he originated in the 2016 film. The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.
So, yeah, it’s hard to gauge any kind of accuracy on that, because what more would we expect? I’d assume this is genuine based on the fact it tells us nothing we didn’t already know. Whether it is what will be released officially or not, well your guess is as good as mine. This is exactly what we all think the Cassian Andor show will cover.

It’s a pretty open slate for the show, which is refreshing. The only canon that needs to be touched on is where Andor heads at the end of the show, because we know his fate. Prior to the events of Rogue One, nothing is really known. That gives the showrunners of this Star Wars as much room to play in as The Mandalorian. Though, I cannot see there being more than one season of this Star Wars show.
