Star Wars: The High Republic is an upcoming novel series set 200 years before the events of The Phantom Menace. The series will focus on a group of new, and from what I’ve read interesting Jedi characters. This is a big project for a galaxy far,far away and should be epic. The series received it’s very own crawl which you can check out below.

I’ve always favored the Jedi/Sith dynamic over the military factions. Sure, I like TIE fighters and X-Wings, but not as much as I like space wizards wielding swords made of light. So a story focusing on a time when the Jedi were in their prime,
I’m all in on this. Well, I would be if this were a set of films, a trilogy perhaps. Or the best-case scenario, a live-action television series. Though it’s always possible that the story will leap off the page and onto the screen sometime in the future
