Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Trailer Image Confirms Key Aspect Of Leaks

I’ll give a small warning here about SPOILERS for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. However, it is worth noting that I won’t be going into any details as such here, other than one key moment from the trailer. The point of this article is simply to add more confirmation that the many leaks for this movie do appear to be genuine, or mostly correct shall we say?

We have had three different sources who have been leaking information for this movie for the last few months and while all three were not exactly the same, there is enough similarities to imagine that the majority of the leaks have some validity. If you really want to find these leaks then I’m sure you guys will have no trouble using Altavista to find them, but I do warn you that I think the majority of what is covered is going to be in this movie, so tread with care, you are only two months out from watching the movie.

The image posted above is a blown up image of one short scene in the trailer (sorry for quality). It seems to show that Rey is holding what looks like a mysterious dagger of some sort in the scene where Vader’s helmet is destroyed, as it sits on some sort of stand or mannequin. The dagger itself looks as if it has no middle, you can clearly see straight through it and this matches descriptions of a ‘Sith Dagger’ that was described by all three sources as being pivotal to the plot of this movie.

Now I won’t say exactly what this all means in context, but it is connected to the scene we see in the trailer where Threepio is having some work done sand seems to be saying goodbye to the rest of the heroes. That’s loose enough that it won’t spoil anything, but just enough to let you know I’m not pulling this out of my ass. The point is that the trailer has done nothing to discredit these leaks. In actual fact, it has actually provided more evidence that the leaks are real. So be very wary when you are looking for info for this movie, because you know the closer this gets to release, idiots will start leaking these details on social media where it is hard to avoid just for the fun of spoiling other fans.

Also, be wary of sites where speculation is encouraged, because you just know some smart-ass will pretend they haven’t read the leaks and just happened to guess the entire plot. As the LRM guy that usually does the trailer breakdowns, I am stepping out of this one, because I have read the leaks. It seems too risky for me to offer speculation on these new images shown in the trailer. But know that I am the only one of the team who has read these leaks, so any guesswork from my colleagues will be just that. Pure guesswork. I’d also warn those who want no part of spoilers to stay away from the chat on this one, because I can’t control what information people discuss below, so don’t blame us if the talk gets spoilery.

With that in mind, share any thoughts you have on this below only if you have no fear of spoilers.
