Star Wars: Visions Trailer Is An Anime Fan’s Wet Dream

Star Wars: Visions trailer

The Star Wars: Visions trailer is finally here and it will get a lot of anime fans very excited. Sadly, I am not an anime fan and therefore feel like I’m watching something completely alien to Star Wars. Of course with this show, canon goes out the window. In Star Wars: Visions we have creatives being given free reign to run wild, without having to fit their stories into the ongoing narrative. The only thing really connecting this to Star Wars is the ability to use the branding and have lightsaber and The Force as far as I can gather. Check it out.

LRM houses plenty of anime fans who I think will love the look of what they see here. As said, sadly I am not one of them. I have just never managed to get into any anime ever thus far. However there is no doubting the power of this medium across the World. I’ll be interested to see what my The Cantina co-host Kyle Malone thinks of this one. Kyle also covers a dedicated anime podcast called the Anime-Versal Reviews Podcast. I’m sure this is therefore far more up Kyle’s avenue than my own.

This may well be the first Star Wars content to come out on Disney+ that I won’t rush into watching. I have the added benefit of knowing none of it matters to the narrative anyway. Though I may watch one or two recommended episodes after it’s all finished just to see if I can get my head around this medium finally.

What do you think of the Star Wars: Visions trailer? Is this something you are excited for? As always, leave your thoughts below if you can.
