For seven strong seasons, Richard Harmon was on another world with the sci-fi hit series The 100. Now, he returns to the genre that he loves the most in horror with The Return.

Harmon reunites with another co-star from The 100 with Sara Thompson as college friends staying in a possibly haunted house left by his deceased father.

Here’s the full synopsis of The Return:

Rodger returns home from college with two friends to settle the affairs of his recently deceased father. They begin to experience weird and unsettling occurrences in the house. Rodger is soon plagued by strange childhood memories about a haunting ghostly presence. These memories boil over into reality culminating in an intense showdown with the terror that has come back.

The movie also stars Echo Andersson. BJ Verot directed the film from a script written by him and Ken Janssens.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with actor Richard Harmon about the film and his love for the horror genre. We talked about his t-shirt dedicated to Halloween III: Season of the Witch, which is deemed the forgotten film of the franchise. Also, we discussed his co-stars, the house, and most importantly—his love for Ottawa, Canada.

Richard Harmon is best known for his role as John Murphy in The CW’s The 100 that went on for seven seasons. His other known roles also included Jasper Ames in The Killing and Julian Randol on Continuum. He made numerous television appearances, including shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Bates Motel, The Haunting Hour: The Series, and Smallville. Also, he appeared in numerous films, including Trick ‘r Treat, The Cult, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and Grave Encounters 2.

The Return won the best feature at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival. Harmon was recognized as Best Actor at the New York City Horror Film Festival.

The film is now available On Demand and digital download from Uncork’d Entertainment.
