Think about your teenage years. What cringy decisions have you made that you wish you could go back and give yourself advice. As I write this I think about it and continuously shake my head reminiscing about my early years. It is in these years that we begin to discover changes in our bodies and how they work. We also start learning a lot more about taking on responsibilities with a lot more consequences. These lessons come usually with bad situations where we lie and keep things from others that escalate situations to a level that could have been prevented. But hey, it’s all part of growing up.

When looking back at our own or other people’s stories, they can be really funny. One of these stories we can see this Friday in the new Hulu Original feature film Plan B. This film features the directorial debut of Natalie Morales based on the writing of Prathi Srinivasan and Joshua Levy.

Here is the synopsis for Hulu’s Plan B

After a regrettable first sexual encounter, a strait-laced high school student (Kuhoo Verma) and her slacker best friend (Victoria Moroles) have 24 hours to hunt down a Plan B pill in America’s heartland.

It’s a fun road trip adventure between two friends. I enjoyed the chain of decisions that they keep making that keep escalating the situation that was so simple in the beginning. But because they are making them from the perspective of teenagers they are so much bigger.

Ahead of the release of Hulu’s Plan B, LRM Online’s Emmanuel Gomez talked with Kuhoo Verma and Victoria Morales. They are the stars of the film that play Sunny and Lupe. During our conversation, we talk about the mindset of a teenager that sometimes due to lack of communication can get them into trouble. Also the pressures of not letting family and friends down can sometimes be too much. Last but not least they also comment on their experience in working with Natalie Morales on this film.
