Storm Reid Shared What She Learned From Filming Missing | Exclusive

Storm Reid plays a savvy teenager in the new mystery thriller, Missing. The question is, will she succeed to find her missing loved one?

The Synopsis 

From the minds behind Searching comes Missing, a thrilling roller-coaster mystery that makes you wonder how well you know those closest to you. When her mother (Nia Long) disappears while on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, June’s (Storm Reid) search for answers is hindered by international red tape. Stuck thousands of miles away in Los Angeles, June creatively uses all the latest technology at her fingertips to try and find her before it’s too late. But as she digs deeper, her digital sleuthing raises more questions than answers…and when June unravels secrets about her mom, she discovers that she never really knew her at all.

The young actress Storm Reid was born in the sunshine state of Florida. From a young age she wanted to be an actress, and to support the passion Reid family relocated to Los Angeles. Shortely after she made her debut on the small screen in A Cross To Bear. The following year her breakthrough came with the historical drama 12 Years A Slave. Some of her recent popular projects are Sleight, A Happening of Monumental Proportions, Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time and the HBO hit Euphoria

I was connected with Storm Reid during the press day of Missing. Reid discussed her experience doing cinematography and what she learned about directing. Also the challenges of having to stare at a camera and if she would like to do more of this kind of filming.
