Remember way back in the day when virtually every crappy movie under the sun got the pixel treatment? Back when 8-bit and 16-bit reigned supreme, and for every amazing game like Super Star Wars, we were treated to countless awful RoboCop games? Well, Stranger Things has always been a series that helps bring back the warm and fuzzies from a time gone by, and in the past, they’ve released games that really helped capitalize on that.
Stranger Things 3 is continuing that tradition with Stranger Things 3: The Game. Netflix NX recently released a full trailer for the game of the upcoming season, and already it features a couple of key moments from that first trailer. Such moments include the hilarious “surprise” that ends with Lucas getting maced by Dustin, as well as the mysterious gunned assailant in the mirror room. In fact, most of this trailer is spent reenacting those very moments from that first trailer, which is both a good and bad thing, depending on how much something like that annoys you.

Personally, I find myself torn as to whether or not I want to play this. While the moments shown off are fun, I have never liked games that had isometric views like the ones shown off here. I’ve always had trouble moving around in the weird grid system often used here (unless they were used tactical games).
