Rejoice, Stranger Things fans! It looks like you may soon be able to interact with some of your favorite characters from the Netflix original series like never before. According to a new report from TechRadar (who also got a confirmation from Netflix themselves), Netflix has partnered with Telltale Games to produce a new game series based on the hit streaming series.

Actually, this is a game that has been in the works for quite a while. The outlet’s source stated that the game was originally set to launch alongside the release of Season 2, but clearly, that didn’t happen. So what exactly will this game be like?

Those who have played Telltale Games in the past know that they aren’t really games as much as they are interactive stories — kind of like “choose your own adventures” taken to the next level. Most gameplay consists of making conversational options and some quick time events and walking around thrown in for good measure.

Game of Thrones had the Telltale treatment a couple years back, and in those games, you played as members of an obscure house of the North, with their story intersecting with the main story in the series. This is exactly what we can expect with this game, meaning we’ll likely be playing as an original character whose path crosses with the main characters of the Netflix show along the way.
