Vecna may have the Stranger Things world turned upside down but Joe Quinn’s “most metal ever” shredding of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” as Eddie Munson has turned a fandom’s world topsy turvy. One of the most iconic moments of season four without a doubt was the moment that Eddie heroically distracted the bats long enough to get the rest of the crew inside the house.
We have seen the legendary group react to the Stranger Things scene very positively. Now via Netflix’s Tik-Tok we can witness what happened when Quinn met the real puppet masters. He joined them as they were rehearsing for their headline show at Lollapalooza in Chicago. During the meet-up, they jammed together and Quinn was even gifted a custom signed B.C. Rich guitar. Just like the one in the series. Check it out below!

Quinn learned to play the iconic song specifically for his performance in Stranger Things. Master of Puppets was originally released on March 3rd, 1986. Now 36 years later, Quinn’s jam session has it back on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The influence that the series has on music is incredible. As it also led to the resurgence of Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill.
