Super Bowl Spot For Fast And Furious 9

In May we will see the arrival of the next film the Fast and Furious franchise Fast and Furious 9. To get us ready for it we were treated last week to the firs trailer for the film as well as a poster. It seems that as the number in the title rises so does the level of ridiculous car stunts. People are back from the dead, John Cena is Vin Diesel’s brother, there is a fighter plane after Dom, jumping off cliffs with cars and someone attached a rocket to a car to name a few. All of this I may add being revealed in a single trailer. What else is left other than to see the film?

Well in case you missed anything Universal Pictures released a new television spot during the Superbowl titled “Hallelujah”. You can check it out above!

As you can see by the spot above we are meant to believe that the steaks have never been higher with the arrival of Dom’s brother. Of course this seems to be the case in every Fast and Furious film. Spoiler alert, don’t be surprised if they end up working together in the next Fast and Furious film because once again the the steaks have never been higher once again. But because we all love action sequences and fast cars, we will all flock to the theater to watch it.

Here is the synopsis for Fast and Furious 9
No matter how fast you are, no one outruns their past.

Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, next year’s The Suicide Squad).

The film is directed by Justin Lin based on a script that is written by Daniel Casey. Along with Diesel and Cena the fim stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Helen Mirren, Cardi B, Michael Rooker, Finn Cole, and Charlize Theron.
