Supergirl Teaser: Don’t Count Her Out

The midseason finale of Supergirl saw our heroine beaten and battered by the sleeper agent known as Reign, and while we know this isn’t the end for Kara, we can’t help but wonder just what is next in store for her.

The CW just released a new teaser on Twitter for the second half of the season, and while it doesn’t necessarily address these things, it does plant the danger that Reign poses to the world (not that we didn’t already know).

Here’s what we can expect from the upcoming midseason finale:

“MEET THE LEGION – Struggling to heal from her injuries inflicted by Reign (Odette Annable), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) remains in a dreamlike state, unable to be reached. Mon-El (Chris Wood) recruits one of the Legion members, Brainiac-5 (guest star Jesse Rath), to try to bring her back. Meanwhile, Reign continues her rampage on the city so the DEO teams up with the Legion of Superheroes to try to stop her.”

Supergirl continues to go full-on DC in its episodes, and the upcoming introduction of the Legion of Superheroes and Braniac 5 (not to mention the introduction of Saturn Girl) certainly help to drive that point home.
