Taylor Russell in Words on Bathroom Walls

Canadian actress Taylor Russell is known for her work in Waves, Escape Room, and the Netflix series Lost In Space. Russell plays the character, Maya, in Words On Bathroom Walls. Maya makes a quick connection with Adam (Charlie Plummer) the moment they meet. Adam is a new student in this Catholic high school. He was expelled from his previous school for accidentally causing a serious burn injury on a classmate during chemistry class due to a schizophrenic episode. Maya is a bright, smart girl that gives Adam the comfort to help him finally see triumph despite all the challenges.

Via Zoom call Taylor Russell discussed how much she enjoyed the script as much as the novel. Russell  also told me what she learned in her research on schizophrenia and humble advice for those with loved ones with the mental illness.

Words On Bathroom Walls can be seen in theaters and drive-in theaters as of today.
