A new rumor says Temuera Morrison is Rex in The Mandalorian. Not only that, but he will reprise that role in the upcoming Ahsoka Tano spin-off show. This might seem obvious based on what we know, but not exactly. We here at LRM knew Morrison was showing up, but we did not know if it was only to play Boba Fett. The information comes from KRT who say that Morrison will definitely be playing Rex in The Mandalorian and the Ahsoka show.
LRM exclusively revealed that several Rebels/The Mandalorian spin-off shows were coming, and one of them is for Boba Fett. It was therefore assumed that Morrison would be playing Fett in The Mandalorian Season 2. However, we did not know that for certain and we had heard no confirmation about Rex from our source. However I thought there was a good chance personally that Rex would show up. This latest rumor from KRT seems to confirm it. I do trust the KRT guys information, as we have chatted behind the scenes and we are hearing many of the same details.
So they are 100% Rex is in Mando and we are fairly certain Boba Fett is also. Is it possible that Morrison could be playing both roles? I don’t know that for certain, but since our source says a Boba Fett spin-off is coming, it makes sense. We also know that Fett’s armor appears in Mando Season 2. Though it seems it won’t be worn by the man himself to begin with.

KRT also said that Lucasfilm would be revealing crossovers between their Disney+ shows and this matches exactly with our first report. Our initial report said that Lucasfilm were using Game of Thrones as an influence. I.e. several different stories all telling one big narrative. The difference is that these Disney+ shows will be separate entities all interconnected. We were told the following shows were definitely in development. Ahsoka, Boba Fett, Ezra/Thrawn, and an unnamed character. Find our initial report Here.
