Terminator: Dark Fate Featurette Takes Us Behind The Scene Of The Sequel

The Terminator: Dark Fate trailer has officially made its way onto the internet, but with its release, it’s important for many fans out there to know that it is not acting as a sequel to Terminator: Genisys. Instead, this will be the direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which to many people out there is (myself included) was the last good thing to hit from the franchise.

In order to accomplish this, the studio has also released a new featurette for the movie, and at the very beginning, producer James Cameron outright says this one will act as the direct sequel to T2: Judgment Day. Geeks like us may understand this, but not everyone is as involved as we are, so I’m happy they took the time to do it.

Also of note is that Cameron stated the movie will be capturing the tone of the first two movies, which makes me super happy. I’ve been waiting for the series to get back to its horror roots a bit, and it looks like it could very well be doing so in this movie.
