Elena’s brother, Bobby is also venturing into a new world in Diary of a Future President. He is now a freshman in high school. He may have been at the top of the totem pole in middle school, but in high school, he will have to start all over again from the bottom if he wants to keep playing tennis. Another thing is that we see him embracing his sexuality and figuring out how to bring it out. He is played by Charlie Bushnell.
Then they both also now have to deal with the new family dynamic at home. Their mom Gabi, played by Selenis Leyva, and her boyfriend Sam, played by Michael Weaver have decided to move in together. Like in any home this will bring its own set of challenges.
