The Primetime Emmys have announced the nominees for the annual award show that is set to air on NBC September 17. Honroing the best of the small screen, the award has been around for decades, this year will mark the event’s seventieth year. Game of Thrones, Westworld, and Saturday Night Live top this year’s field having over 20 nominations each. Also worth a mention is Peter Dinklage breaking the record for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series with his seventh nomination.
