The 2019 Emmy Nominations Are Out

On Tuesday, the Television Academy announced the nominees for the 71st annual Emmy Awards. The ceremony will be held Sunday, September 22nd at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and will be broadcasted live on Fox.

Stand outs from the nominee list include Julia Louis-Dreyfus earning her seventh nomination for her role on HBO’s Veep while Netflix’s Russian Doll earned 13 nominations. Also on Netflix, Ava DuVernay’s When They See Us earned 16 nominations including a Best Actor in Limited Series or TV Movie nomination for Jharrel Jerome, who portrayed Korey Wise in the emotional drama miniseries.
