In the week leading up to the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios made the #DontSpoilTheEndgame viral throughout all social media outlets and advertisements. In an attempt to protect a story arch told over 11 years and 22 films, directors Anthony and Joe Russo—as well as the film’s cast members—emphasized the importance of not spoiling the film for those eager to see it. Now, after one week and nearly $2 billion in worldwide box office ticket sales, it seems we are nearing the end of the spoiler embargo.
On Thursday, the Russo brothers were guests on Good Morning America discussing the film’s huge critical and financial success. During the interview, the filmmaking duo made the announcement that starting Monday, May 6th, it is ok to talk freely about the events of the film. Check out the Twitter link below:

The film has been breaking nearly every motion picture box office record since the first week of April, when tickets were first announced. Theaters had to create new time slots and, in some cases, run continuously for 96 hours straight to meet the high demand. With the announcement the Russos delivered, there just may be another rush to the theaters by those who don’t want their experience spoiled by the end of the ban.
