The Babies Are Back In An All-New Rugrats Trailer From Paramount+

Allright 90s babies, and yes I do mean those of you turning thirty this year! (Scary right?) I have some good news that might awaken that inner child in you once again. Paramount+ is set to premiere a brand-new series featuring the Emmy Award winning babies, Rugrats. Yesterday they dropped the series trailer to showcase what we can expect. Including a new look crew given the new style of animation. You can check it out down below!

Rugrats comes from Nickelodeon Animation Studio. It will be following even bigger adventures from the imaginations of some of your favorite characters. Including: Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie, and Angelica. The series will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on May 27th with a one-hour premiere episode. Then it will air on Nickelodeon on a later date to be announced.

Rugrats

This first episode is titled, Second Time Around. Here is the description of what we can expect:

Tommy leads the babies on a daring adventure to help Chuckie after his big attempt to be brave goes horribly wrong. Warning: dinosaurs are involved.

The original babies’ voice cast are joined by new ones that include, Ashley Rae Spillers and Tommy Dewey(Tommy’s parents, Didi and Stu Pickles); Tony Hale (Chuckie’s father, Chas Finster); Natalie Morales, (Phil and Lil’s mother, Betty DeVille); Anna Chlumsky and Timothy Simons(Angelica’s parents, Charlotte and Drew Pickles); Nicole Byer and Omar Miller (Susie’s parents, Lucy and Randy Carmichael); and Michael McKean (Grandpa Lou Pickles).

Since the Rugrats made their debut in 1991, they have become a pop culture phenomenon. Inspiring all kinds of consumer products. As well as three theatrical releases. The Rugrats were in production for nine seasons over the course of 13 years. In that time they earned four Daytime Emmy Awards. Also six Kids’ Choice Awards and a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
