Is The Bad Batch Season 2 release date September 28th? That’s what it was saying a couple of days ago on the Disney+ app. However if you check the app now, it simply says ‘coming soon’ of the second Season of the show. Here is an image of the date that was posted to the r/StarWars Reddit sub across the weekend.

I, along with others was at the time this was posted, able to confirm the date on my app. However if you check it right now, there is nothing there. Therefore, either September 28th is the release date and for some reason Disney don’t want to announce the date yet. Or, this was wrong, or not finalized and therefore Disney removed it?

Either way, we are expecting The Bad Batch Season 2 this Fall and what date says Fall more than September 28th I ask you? What’s that, October, anytime, okay, you got me. The thing is, as we know we have another animated show coming in Fall of this year, the Tales of the Jedi series of anthology shorts is also due around the same window. Though, TotJ won’t last nearly as long as a full season of The Bad Batch, with only 6 episodes in that inaugural season of the show. The we have the live-action shows to factor in, namely Andor.

Andor premiere’s on August 31st with a double episode. Season 1 is 12-Episodes long, so that means Season 1 will run for a total of 10 more weeks after the premiere date. Thus, the Andor Season finale is not till October 26th. In other words, Andor will have to be irrelevant to both The Bad Batch and Tales of the Jedi, and we must at one point be getting both or all three per week.

Is The Bad Batch Season 2 release date on September 28th? I genuinely have no idea, normally in this situation the date is correct, but given too soon. However Disney can do what they like and if it changes before they officially announce it, so be it? As always, leave your thoughts below, or over on Discord.
