‘The Batman’ Gets Pushed Back To 2022 Along With Other WB Movies

Reaction To Test Screening Of The Batman Is Positive

Well, Covid-19 remains undefeated against everything including The Batman.  Earlier today Warner Bros. announced that one of its tentpole films, Dune, would be pushed back to 2021. One of the films that seem to be on track for a set release was The Batman starring Robert Pattinson.  Originally scheduled for October 1, 2021 it will now release March 4, 2022. Production had already been halted earlier because of the Covid-19 shutdown and just recently a two week stoppage when Robert Pattinson contracted the virus. Although there were delays everything was moving forward to make the scheduled release. But wait that is not the end of the news.

Coronavirus Batman

The Batman was just one of many changes Warner Bros made to their scheduled release dates. All the upcoming DC movies will have new release day with Wonder Woman 84 already moving back to December 25 2020. The Flash starring Ezra Miller is moving back from June 3, 2022 to November 4, 2022. The Shazam! sequel originally schedule for November 4, 2022 will now shift to June 2, 2023. But the biggest casualty is the Black Adam spinoff starring The Rock originally scheduled for December 22, 2021 is now undated.
