A new Batman film is accompanied by a couple of big reveals. After the casting of the character, and the suit design comes to the Batmobile. What Matt Reeves has given fans is arguably the most all-around badass Batmobile fans have ever seen.

The vehicle is equipped to race for pink slips at 8 pm, and then go around and start cleaning up Gotham at 9 pm. Fans weren’t the only ones enamored by the car. Jeffrey Wright, who plays Commissioner Gordon in the film was also impressed by Batman’s new ride. Wright recently spoke on The Jess Cagle Show and talked about the coolness of the Caped Crusader’s classic car. You can check out what he had to say below.

“One of the aspects of the script that I was really stoked about was the Batmobile, the way it was described. It was described as this kind of retro, hyper-hemified muscle car, that was just the craziest, coolest thing you’d ever seen. And when I read that I said ‘A ha, yes.’

It’s possible the new Batmobile may evolve over the film, or over the course of a few films, assuming this version of Batman continues. However, I think it’s more likely that this Batmobile will be destroyed by the end of the film. While the magnificent muscle machine is awesome, it probably doesn’t have the armor the other versions seen on screen were equipped with. And Being Batman I’d say it’s mandatory to have a fully armored vehicle.

Now that is just pure speculation on my part. It could very well be armored, however I still think in the evolution of the Batmobile, Pattinson’s ride is in the early stages of the process.

The Batman currently has a release date of October 1, 2021.
