The Book of Boba Fett premiere date has been revealed as Wednesday, December 29th on Disney+. Disney always said The Book of Boba Fett would premiere in December and they’ve made it by two days. Check out the new poster with the release date below courtesy of StarWars.com.
This of course tells us nothing about the show, which I like. Here we see Fett sitting on the former throne of Jabba, which he took at the ending of The Mandalorian Season 2. The Book of Boba Fett has been called The Mandalorian Season 2.5. I think by that it’s supposed to be what happens next in that story. However, though there’s a rumored appearance from Dinn Djarin, it is likely this show will focus squarely upon Fett himself.
And of course Fennec Shand who seems to be Fett’s right hand woman.

There are a few details we have discovered about The Book of Boba Fett and some of those came from ourselves. We know that both Bossk and Cad Bane will be in the show as per our exclusive reports on both. You can read either by the links there in the character names.
However, despite a few characters, and a brief description we’ve heard that Fett is settling old scores, we know little else. Production on The Book of Boba Fett was very quiet and mostly done within The Volume. I can’t wait to see where this Mandoverse goes next on December 29th. As you’d guess my The Cantina co-host Kyle Malone and hopefully our navigator Shockey will be reviewing these episodes as quickly as they can when they hit. So keep your ears and eyes out for that sometime I’ll guess around December 30th?
