The surprise announcement of The Book of Boba Fett shocked fans around the Star Wars universe.  Fans were already happy with Fett’s return in the second season of The Mandalorian, so it was an added bonus to see that he was getting his own series. Production on the show had started late last year and is in the process of wrapping up principal photography.  Besides the announcement of the series, there hasn’t been any other information regarding the story or casting.  This has led to speculations of how involved The Book of Boba Fett will be in The Mandalorian universe.  Our source has told us that there will be some fan-favorite Bounty Hunters appearing in The Book of Boba Fett.

The last time we see Fett is at the end credits scene of the season two finale of The Mandalorian. He has gone back to Jabba’s Palace taking out anyone in his way including Bib Fortuna.  Boba takes his place on the throne with Fennec Shand sitting right next to him setting up the spin-off show The Book of Boba Fett.  Most fans have speculated that Boba will be building his own criminal organization similar to the Hutts and Crimson Dawn.  That will mean he will need some assistance from his old crew.

Currently, we don’t know exactly which bounty hunters will be showing up. My guess is we will see Bossk and Dengar.  The bounty hunters from The Empire Strikes Back became popular in their own right and would be a great addition to the show.  Some others that wouldn’t be a bad choice are Embo, IG-88, and of course Cad Bane.  IG-88 would be easy to introduce since we already saw another IG unit in the first season of The Mandalorian. Cad Bane and Embo made their popular appearances in The Clone Wars animated series and also have a history with a young Boba Fett. What other bounty hunters can you think of that should appear in The Book of Boba Fett?
