As per the title Godzilla Vs Kong delayed again. I am not keeping track of how many times Godzilla Vs Kong has been delayed, but it is a few now. We know that when Godzilla Vs Kong hits it will be a hybrid release, i.e. it will release in theaters and HBO Max. However, even now the date has been pushed again, this time by a week in North America. Here is the statement as per Variety coverage.
Shortly after Warner Bros. bumped up the film’s release date two months earlier than expected, from May 21 to March 26, the studio has postponed its domestic premiere by another week. Now, Godzilla vs. Kong will debut on March 31 simultaneously in movie theaters and on the streaming service HBO Max. The monster mash-up will launch internationally, where HBO Max is not available, ahead of North America on March 26.

Interesting that the international date has not been changed. My guess is that Godzilla Vs Kong will release only in theaters across that extra week. However, theaters in many Nations are the same as in the U.S., closed. There are certainly no theaters open currently in the U.K. where I live. Will those be open for March 26th? Honestly, I would not bet on it right now. Currently I will guess the roll out plan for Godzilla Vs Kong in the U.K. is similar to WW84. The problem is that some theaters were actually open for WW84, even those are now closed. WW84 did eventually come to video on demand in the U.K., but not as quickly as it did HBO Max.
If you are in the U.S., the place to see Godzilla Vs Kong is likely HBO Max on March 31st. Outside of the U.S., less clear unless theaters are still open where you live. What do you think of this latest Godzilla Vs Kong delay? As always leave any thoughts below.
