I won’t post any revealing images till further down this article in case anyone’s eyes are drawn. Or, you did not heed my warning. However, we have to talk about how accurate the rumors about The Mandalorian Season 2 have been after just one episode. For a start, the Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth rumor was 100% correct. Vanth was a major component of Episode 1 and one would imagine the character could return down the line. After all, Vanth and Mando left on pretty good terms in the end. Mando had helped Vanth save his little mining town/village and willingly handed over the Mandalorian armor he had been using.

Of course, the rumors also said that given Vanth’s inclusion and the fact it is Boba Fett’s armor he has canonically, meant Fett was in Season 2. To be fair, in my opinion the Fett rumor was a little more than that. Not only did we see Fett’s jet-pack in the trailer for Season 2, but Temuera Morrison’s representatives listed him as playing Fett in The Mandalorian.

All of this being true also points us towards other rumors being true. First off the rumor that Boba Fett would not only be in Mando Season 2, but getting his own spin-off show was exclusively revealed by LRM. Our source told us of the plans for Fett some time ago, long before any of the solid evidence showed up. Remember that Rosario Dawson was rumored to be playing Ashsoka Tano long before there was any hints of Boba Fett. Today we shared evidence that Ahsoka is indeed in The Mandalorian Season 2. You can check that out in the link below here.

We then had a rumor that Sasha Banks was playing Sabine Wren in The Mandalorian. Once again, this has been backed up. Whilst we have no confirmation that Banks is playing Sabine, we know for a fact she was in the first trailer. We then had rumors that Kaie Sackhoff was playing Bo Katan Kryze in The Mandalorian Season 2. This was backed up by Gina Carano, Sasha Bank and Sackhoff all liking each other’s social media posts. Finally Sackhoff even liked a rumor (begun by LRM ) that Dune (Carano) and Kryze (Sackhoff) would be getting their own spin-off show.

What Does It All Mean?

This is just my opinion, and of course I am biased here. However I think this is beginning to confirm our source as legitimate . According to our source, this was all happening to set up spin-off shows for Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, Cara Dune, and Ezra Bridger. The seeds have been sown already for all this to play out, and we are only 1 episode down in The Mandalorian Season 2. Boba Fett check, Ahsoka check via Hotstar, Cara+/Bo Katan check, all we have left to get any evidence of is Ezra Bridger. However, considering Ahsoka Tano’s goal around the time of The Mandalorian is to find Ezra, it doesn’t take a genius to make that jump.

Considering the accuracy of this source, we also have to look at what else we were told. Remember we were first to break the news both that Hayden Christensen was in talks, and then signed for the Obi-Wan show. Since that story has been backed up by multiple insiders since, I think we hang our hat on that one now, don’t you?

It seems that aside from Cassian Andor and Kenobi, we have a SWSU going. Star Wars Streaming Universe. Yeah, I made that up, but how else would you describe a series of shows that are all interconnected? I guess what I’m most excited about is where all this is going? The MCU built towards several climaxes, will the SWSU do the same? Is the fate of The Child, Mando, Gideon, Ahsoka, Ezra , and Thrawn all connected? At this point we have to guess that’s the case.

It remains to be seen where the plot of The Mandalorian Season 2 is going. However, it does appear as though all these rumors are starting to connect nicely. Where we go from here though, is anyone’s guess? We also do not know how far long any of these spin-off shows are? The Mandalorian Season 3 begins shooting this year. Is it possible that some of these spin-off’s might not kick in till after Season 3, or can we expect filming to begin for these sometimes in the new year? We shall have to wait and see, that’s not information we currently have access to.

The Mandalorian rumors are all starting to pay off, how do you feel about that? Are Lucasfilm making the right decisions here or the wrong ones. Most importantly what did you think of the first episode of The Mandalorian Season 2.
