Hello and thanks for stopping by and reading The Comic Stash: November column on books to check out this month. To start things off, the following are scheduled to be released on the following weeks. However, with paper shortages and shipping they are all subject to change. With that in mind please note that if you like a book but decide to wait you may miss out on that issue. This is including #1’s. Most companies, like Image Comics, are not doing any second or third prints until further notice. So, don’t miss out on a book that catches your eye at your local comic shops! The following are just my picks that seems like great stories because of the writer or artist doing the work on it. Just make sure you get what you like or what catches your interest.
Week One November 3, 2021
Starting off The Comic Stash: November edition is Image Comics. The company is is releasing Radiant Black #9 by Kyle Higgins and rt by Marcelo Costa. This book is a great story to read with tons of turns and surprises that keeps the reader guessing.
Another great book from Image Comics is The Me You Love in the Dark #4 by Skottie Young with art by Jorge Corona. This dark romance story is about Ro Meadows and her romance with her house guest. However, the guest is not from the world of the living. But, things are staring to go dark as we find more about this dark guess in the house.
Image Comics also has, The Magic Order 2 #1 by Mark Millar with art by Stuart Immonen. This is the second volume of this fun story about magical turf war and the first volume was an enjoyable read.
Dynamite Comics has a new series release this week, Sheena: Queen of the Jungle #1 by Stephen Mooney with art by Jethro Morales. This character has been in comics for decades and nice to see when they start a new series with her.
Moving along with The Comic Stash: November comics comes from DC Comics. They are releasing a new series, Dark Knights of Steel #1 by Tom Taylor with art by Yasmine Putri. This story is set in the medieval world with a twist as the heroes of DC universe are placed in this timeline. Should be a fun read and looking forward to seeing how this story goes.
Scout Comics is releasing a new series, Ranger Stranger #1 by Matt Battagalia with art by Tyler Jensen. The story is set in a magic place of Hackaneck National Park where everything there will kill you if given the chance.
From Ablaze Comics comes a new series, Guillem March’s Laura and Other Stories #1 by Guillem March. This should be a treat for those who are fans of March’s work. This is the character that helps pave the way for late work on Batman and Karmen.
Archie Comics has a new one-shot coming out as well this week, Chilling Adventures in Sorcery #1 with the story and art by a group of talent to give us a ton of mini stories.
Aftershock Comics is finally having, After Dark #1 coming out that has four creepy horror tales. It is various writers and artists. I was hoping to see this out by Halloween. Unfortunately, there was a delay.
Week Two November 10, 2021
The Comic Stash: November continues with Marvel Comics. They will be releasing a new Venom series this week with #1 by Al Ewing and Ram V with art by Bryan Hitch and Andrew Currie. This will be a great way to start a new series with Venom. It also takes off right after Legacy #200.

Aftershock Comics has a new series, Croak #1 by Paul Tobin with art by Andy MacDonald. This company has great stories coming out and this one should be no different. In this story we find a world where people have tried to weaponize dreams. However, they end up punching a hole into the dream world that releases our nightmarish creatures. The Comic Stash: November edition recommends it for your collection.
Image Comics has #2 of A Righteous Thirst for Vengeance out this week by Rick Remender with art by Andre Lima Araujo and Chris O’Halloran. The first issue is a short read. But we do get the set up for the story to come in the next issue.
The new series from Image Comics is, What’s the Furthest Place from Here? #1 by Matthew Rosenberg with art by Tyler Boss. The World ends as most know it and children are left to figure it from here. There are variant covers to pick from, but the neat variant one has a 7” inch record with some punk music to listen to as you read this book.
Aftershock has Chicken Devil #2 by Brian Buccellato with art by Hayden Sherman. This is strange tale of Mitchell as he tries to get revenge against the Russian mob.

Week Three November 17, 2021
Second Sight Publishing is releasing a book which hit a delay, These Damn Kids #1 by Bradley Golden with art by Peter Breau. This story is very much like that movie, Children of the Corn with kids becoming evil and turning on the adults in a small town. Should be a fun read and sorry it missed the Halloween timeline.

Week Four November 24, 2021
Coming into the last days of the month for The Comic Stash: November, Marvel Comics new series, Hulk #1 coming out this week. It is by Donny Cates with art by Ryan Ottley. There of course will be a few variants to pick from as well. The last Hulk series has a great story along with great artwork. This next series should be interesting with Donny Cates at the helm.
They also have a new Black Panther series out this week. #1 is by John Ridley with art by Juann Cabal. Since this is a new number one, there will be variants to pick from as well.
