All too often, humans explore undiscovered territories that unknown creatures lurk.
In The Devil Below, humans opened coal mines that to areas deep underground that we should never explore.
The film stars Alicia Sanz, Adan Canto, Zach Avery, Chinaza Uche, Jesse Latourette, Jonathan Sadowski, and Will Patton. Bradley Parker directed the film from a script written by Eric Scherbarth and Stefan Jaworski.
Here’s the official synopsis:
There is an abandoned place nestled deep in the Appalachian country where underground coal mines have been ablaze for decades. When a team of researchers tries to find out how the fires started, they soon discover something more startling than the mystery that sent them there: they’re not alone.

This is the first film since director Brad Parker broke into the horror genre with 2012’s Chernobyl Diaries. Since then, he mainly participated as a second unit director or other crew on projects such as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Ad Astra, Locke & Key, and the upcoming The Batman.
Vertical Entertainment released the first trailer and poster for the new terrifying story.
The Devil Below is in select theaters on March 5.
