The Falcon And The Winter Soldier: Danny Ramirez Talks About His Possible Future As The Falcon In The MCU

The Future Falcon?

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s Joaquin Torres played by Danny Ramirez, could be the next Falcon. I, for one, hope that the MCU confirms that. In an interview with ComicBook.com‘s Brandon Davis, Ramirez discusses his future as The Falcon in the MCU. However, when asked about wearing wings like his character does in the comics, Ramirez jokingly said, “It’s breaking up, I can’t hear what you’re asking.” Ramirez did say that Sam Wilson would be the character he’s most excited to work with if he got the chance to become The Falcon. The star clearly enjoyed working with Mackie on the set and we can see they have good chemistry in those first couple of episodes.

He does have a list of those he would like to work with, he stated:

“Well, Sam is my first answer, he’d be amazing to team-up with. I’ve read a lot of fan theories and I think I’d have a lot of fun throwing down with Tom Holland. You know, a scene together. Not that we’d be fighting, but a scene together would be pretty funny I think. I think it would be pretty dynamic, I would love to work with him across the board, I think Benedict Cumberbatch is a phenomenal actor to work with. Tom Hiddleston. So, yeah, there’s so many phenomenal actors in the MCU that I think any way to get involved in their stories, or in a scene with them, I’d definitely take the opportunity.”

With Anthony Mackie possibly being the next Captain America, it would be great having Ramirez taking up Sam’s wings and being the next Falcon. Also, Ramirez gave fans the impression he’ll be the Falcon when people kept asking about the wings. Ramirez explained:

“Yeah, the repair – for whoever it may be. I think he is pretty good at repairing things, for sure. He knows his way around the tech, so I think he won’t have too much trouble repairing whatever he has to repair in whatever condition they’re in. I think he’ll have a good time with it. He’ll have a good time with it.”

With only six episodes in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I’m dying to see more. Additionally, it’s always a disappointment when an episode ends and I have to wait till next week to get more.
