Darth Revan To Show Up In Star Wars Again | Barside Buzz

Darth Revan, the star of the Knights of the Old Republic games was always a popular character amongst Star Wars fans. However, since Disney purchased Lucasfilm in 2012 and threw out all the EU, Revan was no longer canon. As we’ve seen though previously, when Disney wants, they can change that. Corey Van Dyke of KRT was recently a guest on Holonet Marauders Podcast and said some intriguing things about Revan. Corey says that Revan is going to start showing up and become a canon figure again.

Now, obviously Revan was alive a long, long time ago in that Galaxy far away. The furthest back we have gone recently in Star Wars is the High Republic era for books and even those are far too soon for Revan. However we do have rumors of a Knights of the Old Republic remake coming, so who knows what could spawn from that. Corey also says he thinks Revan could show up in The Acolyte. Not physically, because again he would be long dead, but in the form of recorded messages or Sith Holocrons.

The Acolyte we expect( and in my case hope) to be dealing more with the Sith. The timeline for The Acolyte is the end of the High Republic era because the start of the Fall of the Jedi rea. That does mean that we could be looking at a time with Darth Plaguis as the lord of the Sith. Therefore there could also be some lead up to a certain Darth Sidious as well.

Who knows form there though, perhaps with a remake of KOTR and an brief appearance in The Acolyte Lucasfilm could push ahead with a proper Old Republic era show or movie. The Knights of the Old Republic is an era which the majority of Star Wars fans have always wanted to see more. What about you, are you a fan of Darth Revan, would you like to see him show up in legends again? Thoughts below as always.
