The First Images From Rick And Morty Season 4 Have Arrived

Slowly but surely, the fourth season of Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty is making it’s way to us fans here on Earth C-137. Today we bring you the first images of the long-awaited return of Bizarro Doc Brown and his grandson Morty Smith. Hopefully, the following images will be enough to hold you folks over until November when Season 4 premieres. So, waht are you waiting for? Feast your eyes upon the hard work of Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon.

I actually saw this image last night in a Rick and Morty Facebook group, but I didn’t really think anything of it. The image became a template for several memes. Rick looks more relaxed than I can ever remember seeing him. Wherever he is, it seems to be a peaceful place, good for Rick.

The second image is some off-the-wall s**t. Folks around the Internet have mentioned the creatures sort of resemble Crocubot, a member of the Vindicators, who is actually no longer alive, but that doesn’t mean much when you can travel through time and dimensions. This is the batcrap crazy side of Rick and Morty that usually makes about as much sense as a Primus music video, but is also usually the most fun,

While we can’t really tell what’s going on in either image, I will say that the images have reassured me that Season 4 will certainly be an interesting adventure. The long hiatuses usually prove well for keeping the all-around quality of the show at high level

The show will likely reveal more at their San Diego Comic-Con panel on Friday. A teaser for the panel follows below.

“Wubba lubba dub dub! The Emmy Award–winning series Rick and Morty is back for a highly anticipated fourth season, premiering November on Adult Swim. Executive producers and co-creators Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland (Adventure Time), and voice talent Spencer Grammer (Greek), Sarah Chalke (Scrubs). and Chris Parnell (Archer) invite fans to take a look at what they have cooking for the new season. Moderated by Rob Schrab (Creepshow, Community).”
