TV shows nowadays are fluid enterprises. Even when it comes to these main network superhero shows that are born out of a high-concept premise, they rarely fall into a total status quo. Such is the case with The Flash, a show that goes through Harrison Wellses like they don’t even matter. They also tend to go through a good number of side Team Flash characters, including the likes of Jesse Quick, Harry’s daughter and fellow Speedster.

We last saw her in episode 15 of last season, but can we expect to see more of her going forward? Speaking with our own Gig Patta, actress Violett Beane remained tightlipped about the future, but seemed more than optimistic about the chances of seeing her character in the future of the show.

“One of the great things about it is that even if your character dies, your character doesn’t really die. They’re always time-traveling and bringing people back, and I always had an amazing time over on that set. So I would love to go back. I don’t think it’s over for Jesse. She’s protecting an entire earth in her spare time, so I definitely think people will see her again.”

I certainly don’t doubt it. While consistency isn’t something this show have a lot of in terms of the cast, even the recurring characters tend to come back pretty frequently, and that helps give it an extra dose of continuity, which I enjoy.
