The Flood | Brandon Slagle Interview

Nicky Whelan in The Flood

There is something alluring and horrifying when nature’s creatures fight back.

In The Flood, one of the most gruesome creatures is in the hunt on both land and water with the ferocious giant alligators.

In this popcorn-chomping flick, prison convicts and police officers must set aside their differences to survive as they’re trapped inside a flooded police station.

The film stars Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers, Alita: Battle Angel), Nicky Whelan (Hall Pass, Halloween II), and Louis Mandylor (The Debt Collector, Rambo: Last Blood). Brandon Slagle directed the film, co-written by Chad Law (Section 8, Close Range) and Josh Ridgway (The Sector, Howlers).

Here is the official synopsis:

After a massive hurricane floods Louisiana, a horde of giant hungry alligators is unleashed on a group of in-transit prisoners and their guards.
