Yeah, I know. It’s the summer. We still have basically an entire lifetime before we can finally jump back into the world of television. As far as network TV goes, things ended around last month, so many viewers have had to rely on the likes of Netflix and Hulu to drop entertaining seasons of content instead (luckily, they pretty much do that year ’round).
But, of course, as consumers of content from around the board, we are always looking to the future and what it holds. More specifically, we are looking to the great NBC comedies. Sadly, we don’t yet know when Brooklyn Nine-Nine is returning, but we do have dates for The Good Place and Superstore.
The Good Place will be returning to the fold in its fourth and final season on Thursday, September 26 at 9 PM. Yes, I know. After a few years of pure joy, it’s sad to see this one go, but at the end of the day, it was never a series that was going to be the next Big Bang Theory in terms of its longevity, so perhaps it’s for the best.
However, there is one other series that has the potential to be the next The Office, and that’s Superstore, a show that’s entering its fifth season. It will also premiere on September 26, but will do so at 8 PM. In short, keep your Thursday evenings clear for these stellar comedies.
