The Great Season 2 Official Trailer Is Here!

“Catherine’s giving birth to the future of Russia, and she’s crowning!” The Great Season 2 is coming and the story is getting more and more juicy! Hulu has released The Great Season 2 official trailer and November can’t get here fast enough.

Catherine Is Taking Over!

The Great Season 2 official trailer is out now

“I look at you and go dry like sand.” Damn! What a line! I had the same look on my face that Peter did. The trailer starts out with Catherine being crowned Catherine the Great. Peter asks, “you’re calling yourself, The Great? Seems arrogant.” Catherine replies, “it is if you’re not great, but if you are, it is just calling things what they are.” Poor Peter. The truth hurts. Catherine’s mother, Joanna, played by Gillian Anderson, comes to visit. She tells her daughter of the rumor being spread across Europe that she’s taken Russia from Peter. Yeah, about that? Not a rumor. Elizabeth is trying to protect Peter by telling him to make Catherine love him. She’s not going to fall in love with an idiot. Peter wants to get his throne back and kill her once their son, Paul, is born. Good luck with that plan…

Season 2 will still have Elle Fanning, Nicholas Hoult, Phoebe Fox, and Sacha Dhawan as Catherine, Peter, Marial, and Orlo. Also returning to season 2 is Douglas Hodge, Charity Wakefield, Gwilym Lee, and Adam Godley as Velementov, Georgina, Grigor, and the Archbishop. I can’t wait see these characters again and to see Catherine’s mother. Also, I love the poster for this season.

The Great Season 2 will premiere on November 19 on Hulu.
