October Sideshow Collectables To Add To Your Collection I Sideshow Review

Hello and thanks for stopping by and reading this column!  This month we will be checking out the October Sideshow Collectables! I have been collecting Sideshow Collectables for a long time and enjoy sharing what new items they have every month.  For those that have never heard of this company, and they visit the site for the first time it can be very exciting.  They  will find something for themselves or for someone in their life.  Pop culture has such a drive in our movies, shows, and everyday life today.  So why not add some statues, posters to show what you like to see, or collect?

The best thing about this site as I have mentioned in other pervious columns is the reward points you get. They can be used for other future items as well. The new feature they have is, “View in your room” where you can upload the area that you want the statue and see what it would look like in that area.

The layaway plan helps a ton when you are buying a $400 statue. That way you can pay monthly and by the time you pay it off, that is when the item is ready to be released and shipped out. Most of the items I go over are items that are the latest releases and can be pre-order today. They do have another section called Prime 1 Studio, where you will find the top-of-the-line museum statues, but the prices are very high.  But hey, if you got the money and you want the best of the best then look at this section!

I will start the October Sideshow Collectables with the Sideshow Prime 1 Studio Collectibles. They have a truly amazing statue of Wonder Woman from the game Injustice 2. This a Deluxe Version because you can change her weapons. Her head also changes into three different facial expressions. The statue is about 21” inches tall with a with of 17’ inches base, the weight is close to 16 pounds.

The price hurts at $1,005 plus what ever shipping may cost at checkout. They do offer layaway plans for her. But again not cheap and you will need a good amount a space to display her. The base also lights up the flames around the base to give it more life.

Let’s take a look at the next statue for the October Sideshow Collectables. The new item I enjoy seeing is from a very popular anime show, Demon Slayer. This is a set of both brother and sister, Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado.  It comes from Mega House and the seller is Sideshow Collectibles. The price for this item is $333 plus the shipping at checkout. They do offer you can option to put it on layaway, so that helps. And this piece is not over $1,000 like Wonder Woman. The height of this item is small as well just above 6” inches, and there is little to no weight because it is all plastic.

For Star War fans like myself they have the perfect gift idea for you or for someone special this holiday season. The October Sideshow Collectables has the Millennium Falcon Desk Lamp! It is made by Paladone, and sold through Sideshow Collectables. It is just SWEET!! They have my money on this one for sure. The cost of this item is only $60. The height fully extended is about 23” inches and only weights about 2 pounds. Again, this is a perfect gift for you or someone special in your life.

If you’re not into the Millennium Falcon they do offer the TIE Fighter as a desk lamp as well. It is the same price and descriptions as the other lamp.

The other item they offer for Star Wars fans is a Mandalorian Desktop Light. This item is $30, and the height is only close to 6” inches. The item for sure will make fans of the Mandalorian happy but if not, the next one should!

They also have The Child Desktop Light that costs $30 as well. Even though this is the October Sideshow Collectables, Christmas is around the corner!

Here is another perfect gift if you’re a Hellboy fan. From Dark Horse Comics, the Hellboy Holiday Ornament costs only $29.99 plus the cost of shipping at checkout. The item is small which is to be expected. It is only 4” inches tall, and again would make a Hellboy fan super happy!

We have one more to cover in the October Side Collectables review. One of the other neat things they have on this site is silver coins that have the shape of characters and pop icons. They cost about $99 per coin if they weigh 1 oz. If they are bigger the cost does go up and they are of course limited editions. The newest one out for pre-order is Batman Flying silver coin. The bad thing about these coins is that once you start with one you will want more.  They are all made from the New Zealand Mint Chibi Coin Collection. I do notice that the shipping date for a lot items has changed a few times because of the issue we are having with shipping.  I enjoy looking forward what comes out next from this great company.
