I read about the rumor of the LEGO Ideas Home Alone house set a while back and I couldn’t wait to see it. Although, I don’t have the money for the LEGO Home Alone house, I still love it and wish I could get it. I loved playing with LEGO as a kid and would spend most of my time in my room. If I had this growing up, my family would never see me. Home Alone was a movie I would watch repeatedly every year and I loved the McCallister home.
It Comes With Everything
The front of the house comes with Christmas lights in the flowerbed and a wreath on the door. The house opens up to reveal all the rooms. The living room and dining room are on the first floor. Buzz’s room, the parents’ room, and bathroom is on the second floor. The house has stairs that lead all the way to the attic which opens up from the top. The back of the house has the basement and above is the kitchen. The set also includes the tree house and Larry and Marv’s van with stolen goods inside. This build is incredible, but the only thing I would change is the statue everyone hits with their car. It’s too small.
The Details
The living room has a fireplace, Christmas tree, and train with the Michael Jordan cut-out that spins. The house has knobs on the outside that controls different things inside. The dining room has a table with chairs, grandfather clock, fan, and the record player with the sculpture on it. There is a fridge with mac and cheese inside and Little Nero’s Pizza in the kitchen and the basement has the laundry and furnace. Also, there is a knob that drops the iron on Marv. Buzz’s shelves can fall and the bathroom has a sink, mirror, and aftershave. The parents’ room has the digital alarm clock and four-poster bed. Perfect for jumping on. There’s a pull-out couch in the attic. There’s also little touches like the paint can, sled, spider, and Kevin’s plane ticket. The characters the set comes with is Kevin, Larry, Marv, old man Marley, and Kate.

The LEGO Ideas Home Alone #21330 comes with 3955 pieces. Also, the price will be $249.99 US, $349.99 CAN, and £229.99. It will be available for purchase on November 1.
