The Mandalorian MNF Exclusive Look Reaction

The second season of The Mandalorian has to be one of the most hyped shows of all time. Last year when the unknown show debuted on Disney+ on die hard Star Wars fans were really excited about it. The Rise of Skywalker would be debuting in the midst of the first season so a majority of attention was focused on the film.  With Covid-19 shutting down most film productions Disney has now pivoted to prioritize is Disney+ catalog. The Mandalorian is now the crown jewel of the future. So much speculation and hype has taken over that fans are looking for anything new to talk about.  Tonight we got that new content during the Monday Night Football game and these are the biggest takeaways from the exclusive look.

The biggest takeaway is now we know who Din Djarin is searching for at the beginning of the season. While his ultimate goal is to reunite The Child with his own kind, Din now seeks other Mandalorians to help him on his mission.  This now explains why characters like Boba Fett, Sabin Wren, and Bo Katan have been linked to this season since production started.  All of them are Mandalorians have a past with the Jedi which is who will get The Child back to his people.  This also explains why have seen clips of Din Djarin on Tatooine, he is probably looking for Boba Fett.

Mandalorian Season 2 Ilum

The second biggest takeaway is that this show has now turned into an ensemble. With so many characters confirmed and rumored for the show it was hard to imagine that it there would be a lot of screen time for Mando.  Now from this clip it seems that Mando recruits Greef Karga and Cara Dune for his big mission. This means less screen time of just Mando and The Child and more of secondary characters getting more time to shine. With unconfirmed characters like Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze also rumored to be in this season it seems that The Mandalorian universe is getting to big for just one show.

What do you think about this exclusive look? Are you excited as I am for season two of The Mandalorian?

The Mandalorian Season 2 starts streaming Friday October 30th on Disney+.
