Some more information has come out that leads us to believe that the third season of The Mandalorian will be coming sooner rather than later. According to a released listing for a new Boba Fett graphic novel from Edelweiss+, there is some information that suggests that The Mandalorian season 3 will be debuting in the spring of 2022. This might sound crazy for some fans since there hasn’t been a formal announcement that filming has begun for the new season of The Mandalorian.

While some may just look at this and think that information is not correct or it is just a guess, these listings are supposed to be industry-only and not available to the public. These types of children’s graphic novels and books are released relatively in the same timeframe the shows are. “Our pub dates will be timed with Blu-ray/DVD/digital and Disney+ releases, as well as sequels and anniversaries.”
This information along with other sources saying that filming for The Mandalorian season 3 has been taking place would put the debut of the upcoming season around spring of 2022.
It does make sense for The Mandalorian Season 3 to debut sometime in the spring of 2022, most notably right after Star Wars Celebration which takes place May 26-29, 2022. Theoretically, we could have The Book of Boba Fett from December 2021-early February 2022, Andor season one late February 2022- late April/early May 2022, The Mandalorian season 3 late May 2022 (Premiere at Celebration)- July 2022, and then Kenobi from August 2022-September 2022.
This would line up with what we have been hearing from our sources. Now of course things can always change but this would be the schedule I would bet on happening for the upcoming year.
What do you all think? Will we see The Mandalorian season three that early in 2022 or do you think it will be later? Let us know in the comments section below.
