The Mandalorian Season 3 Filming Has Reportedly Begun | Barside Buzz

Mando S3 COVID Shutdown Rumors Debunked? | Barside Buzz

The Mandalorian Season 3 filming has reportedly begun. Bespin Bulletin updated a previous article of theirs which pointed to a September to March filming run for Mando S3. The update is that work begun last week at Manhattan Beach studios. BB confirm Pedro Pascal is not yet on set, which makes since given he’s still finishing up The Last of Us. They also say filming will move to the train yard sometime in October.

Check it out.

This all makes sense given previous information we have heard from talent and crew surrounding Mando S3. My guess, is that we could be seeing The Mandalorian Season 3 around Xmas time next year. Though I won’t bet on that for sure. The upcoming potential strike action by IATSE members could still throw a spanner in the works.

We have 4, (almost 5) Star Wars shows to potentially look forward to in 2022. For a start The Book of Boba Fett begins on December 29th, though the majority of that will hit in January. Then  we have Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, The Bad Batch Season 2 and potentially Mando S3 to round out the year. Hopefully we will see Rogue Squadron begin filming sometime in 2022 also. As for Ashoka it’s hard to say. LRM has been hearing Lucasfilm wanted to get that show under cameras quicker than it now seems they’ll be able to. Shockey was talking about what he heard in The Cantina of two weeks ago if you want to check back and here what he had to say, there’s a link right there on the name.

What are your hopes for for S3 as The Mandalorian Season 3 filming has reportedly begun? As always, leave any thoughts you have below.
