Pascal Keen On Mando Spin-Off’s! Read on for more details.
Friday saw two (and counting) The Mandalorian spin-off shows announced. Those shows were Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic. Would The Mandalorian himself appear in those at all? My initial guess would be, maybe, and rarely. However, when Pascal spoke to ComicBook.com recently, he said he was not only keen, but expecting it to happen.
Asked whether Din Djarin could show up in either show Pascal said,
“Has to be! – Man, fingers crossed. How could you not?” he says. “This is like, this is something that’s so much bigger than all of us, and we’re all a passenger to it in a great way. And so, I find out, as it is decided and shared.”

Sounds as though Pascal is fully expecting to have some involvement in both Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic. As far as Disney says, these three shows (including The Mandalorian) will all connect and lead towards some story climax. LRM‘s source said it was described as Game of Thrones, where each main story thread had it’s own show, yet still told the same overall story. If that is the case, then it would be sorta strange for Din Djarin to never show up in either of the other two shows. Equally I would guess we could see Ahsoka and Rangers characters showing up in future seasons of The Mandalorian.
As yet we still don’t know who will even lead Rangers of the New Republic. However we do expect to see Cara Dune, Bo-Katan Kryze, and I’ll guess at Mayfield. As for Ahsoka, apart from the obvious it would make sense for Sabine Wren to show up. Other than that, could any other Rebels characters make an appearance, like Hera Syndulla and her son? It is expected given who his father is, that Jacen Syndulla would be Force sensitive. However Hera herself would likely be interested in the ongoing search for Ezra and Thrawn in either way.
