The Marvels Final Trailer Promises Movie Will Change Everything

In what I think is a rather loaded statement, Disney CEO Bob Iger blames lack of executive supervisions for The Marvels box office failure

Today we are sharing the recently released The Marvels final trailer which promises that the movie will change everything in the MCU. I’m not so sure about that! However, I will say this is a nice cut of this trailer and it makes the movie looks pretty epic. Check it out.

This trailer I think give us our best look at the Kree villain of the movie Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton) and it does surprisingly look like she can go toe to toe with Carol. At least, once some power up has occurred perhaps?

This final trailer also focuses on the Multiverse angle being introduced. The Multiverse has been out the bag for some time in the MCU, but outside of Multiverse of Madness this is the first incursion event. I guess the fact this changes everything indicates we will be seeing more of these in the lead up to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Whether this will prove to be an exciting development in the MCU remains to be seen.

Honestly, I think The Marvels looks a decent movie. Whether that means a theatre visit though, remains to be seen? And from Marvel’s pov that’s exactly the issue right now. The Marvels is currently tracking for a lower opening than either The Flash or Black Adam, which were both massive flops for DC.

If The Marvels is really good, we’ve seen what positive word of mouth can do to a movie. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 started lower than usual, but recovered well when people genuinely liked it. The Flash and Black Adam both had poor word of mouth after release and that doesn’t help. Still, with a reported $250M budget, I struggle to see how The Marvels makes a profit for Disney.

Finally, have a closer look at the shot after Monica wakes up in hospital from this trailer. Then think back to the rumors we have shared about the post-credit scene of the movie. There’s a connection and a clue or two in there. Say no more here as no spoiler tags.

So, what do you think of The Marvels final trailer. Will it change everything, or will it be another average MCU movie? Thoughts below as always.
