The New Mutants are descending to San Diego Comic-Con International. Well, sort of.
20th Century Studios has a panel at this week’s Comic-Con @Home, in which the panel will promote the upcoming horror comic-book movie.
The panel takes place virtually online on Thursday, July 23, at 2 p.m. on Comic-Con’s YouTube channel.
In the virtual panel, the participants include writer/director Josh Boone and its stars of Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga. Ira Madison III will moderate the event.
Good news, there is no membership or fee to watch this panel online.
Here’s the official synopsis:
The New Mutants is an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
The film’s release date is August 28 for theaters. However, due to the pandemic climate, the theatrical date can change.
