Today we have some confirmation that Falcon and The Winter Soldier will feature Yakuza. How do we know this you ask? Well, it’s thanks to a Reddit user who noticed that the Disney+ show’s IMDB page features stunt actors listed as both ‘Yakuza Bike Rider’ and ‘Yakuza Gang Member’. Both will apparently appear in Episode 3 of Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Now, those are the facts, now let’s speculate. There are rumors I’ve heard that Hawkeye will deal with some of the fall out of Clint Barton’s time as Ronin. Those rumors are not solid enough to publish, but it would make a lot of sense. Of course, we last saw Ronin killing one of the big Yakuza bosses just before Nat arrives in Endgame. Clint is a different person now, he helped save the Universe and he rescued his family from oblivion. However, what about all those criminals he killed?

What happens between our heroes and the Yakuza in Falcon and The Winter Soldier, who knows? It’s possible the intercation could sow a few seeds to be picked up in Hawkeye. I know some of the fans on that Reddit link are wondering whether The Hand could show up? I personally find that unlikely given how poorly The Hand was handled in the MCU Netflix shows. Though, again who knows? Could this Yakuza situation in Falcon and The Winter Soldier be somehow tied to Ronin’s actions? Or is this simply an action scene where Sam and/or Bucky get caught against the Yakuza, and have to kick some ass? I genuinely do not have an answer for you. However, it is intriguing to speculate upon nonetheless.
