Right off the bat, I will say that I think Disney nailed this one. What one? Oh, the Rise of the Resistance theme park ride at Galaxy’s Edge in the Disney theme parks (though the Walt Disney World is the only location currently open, Disneyland version open January 17). The ride is being called the most immersive theme park experiences ever made, and, from the video above (it’s about 20 minutes long, but worth the watch), it appears that appears to be true.
I’ll let the video speak for itself but basically the ride entails the guests flying under the command of Calamari Lieutenant, you’re then captured by the First Order and must find a way to escape.

The ride is the second one to be added to Disney’s Star Wars land known as Galaxy’s Edge, with the first being Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The Rise of the Resistance experience is said to last about 20 minutes and has Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, and Oscar Isaac reprising their roles from the sequel trilogy is some shape or form.
