Yesterday Marvel Entertainment teased a big announcement via Twitter that was supposed to drop this morning. Today Ryan Penegas sat down with the editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski to make one of the biggest announcements that Marvel Comics has made in a long time. The Fantastic Four are coming back to comics!
Starting this August, the original team of Reed, Sue, Ben and Johnny are returning in a monthly book. The book will be written by Dan Slott with artwork by Sara Pichelli. Check out the promo image that was provided by Marvel Entertainment!
The Fantastic Four are one of the most important teams in the Marvel Universe. They are the first team that was created by the legendary Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back in 1961. They have have several forgettable films that have had several fans begging for Marvel Studios to get back the rights.
This is FANTASTIC news from Marvel Entertainment, I am very excited to see Cebulski continue to work to bring back legacy characters back to the comics. I look forward to seeing what story Slott has for the return of this historic team.
