Marvel and Netflix have revealed yet another trailer for their upcoming spinoff series, The Punisher.

The trailers off a lot of the hard-hitting action we’ve come to expect from Netflix’s Marvel offerings, and this time, they even delved more into what we can expect from the story. It turns out that Frank Castle’s family was killed to get to him. Some government agency wants him dead in an attempt to cover up what he did in the war, and now Frank Castle himself is gunning for them.

It looks like a fittingly emotional and action-packed entry in the Marvel/Netflix franchise, and we think it has the potential to become one the strongest series to date on the platform.

The trailer also finally revealed the released date as November 17, 2017. The release date is something Netflix has been making some of a game for fans, with hints being dropped here and there. With everything they revealed, it was believed that the show would be dropping tomorrow. However, with the Vegas shooting still fresh in our minds, Marvel Entertainment and Netflix opted to push it back.

Luckily, the date isn’t too far back, and one has to wonder if this date reveal is a middle finger to Justice League, which hits theaters on that very same day. Maybe. Maybe not. Regardless, that’ll be one hell of a weekend for comic book fans.
