Talk about the training day.
In the new horror film The Seventh Day, a rookie exorcist teams up with a more experienced and renowned exorcist. As he shadows his mentor, the lines between good and evil start to blur as their own demons start to emerge.
The film stars Guy Pearce (Memento, L.A. Confidential), Vadhir Derbez (How to be a Latin Lover, 3 idiotas), Stephen Lang (Avatar, Don’t Breathe), Brady Jenness (The Trail of the Chicago 7), Robin Bartlett (Inside Llewyn Davis, Shutter Island), and Keith David (The Princess and the Frog, They Live). Justin P. Lange (The Dark) directed and wrote the screenplay.

There are plenty of exorcist films over the years. They all pretty much run with the same formula for an exorcist film. There’ll be jump scares, psychological teases, and possibly contortionist movements by the victims. Hopefully, for The Seventh Day, it’ll feature something different that we haven’t seen before.
The Seventh Day plays in select theaters and On Demand on March 26.
